quaint history ain't
history if it can't weave
in multiple threads.

seaglass settles
seagulls soar
ocean meddles
with a placid shore

orange arrives

an uninvited guest

quick to become the

life of the party

she compliments blue

on his smile

she brings angry red

together with cool yellow

even wither and decay

soften in her warmth.

Jungle squeezes
Time in a teardrop
Under a dragon moon
Shifting in the sky
Flexing its scales
Across the earth
Fire drips from our hands
And wells from within.
